It is such a fantastic feeling to read verses that I have heard before. As I happen upon them through the reading they come as a surprise. I get all excited and giddy knowing that the “Living Word” is in me. It is inside of all of us…
Matthew 25:21 — The Parable of the Talents
Of course there is more to this parable. For those that did not invest, the outcome was not so good. Begin now. Begin to invest in your eternal future with our God. It’s not easy, but anything of value is always difficult. God will answer your prayers. He always fulfills His promises.
It is Saturday now. At this point Jesus lays in the tomb, held closed by a massive stone. It had been foretold by the sign of the prophet Jonah. Jesus would live in the ground for three days, as Jonah lived in the whale for three days. (Matthew 12:38-42) No worries. Jesus is Risen!
God Bless You!
Amen.
