Don’t worry if you don’t think you have “it” all together. Pressing into God creates some fear in many people at first. That’s not you; it’s the devil. Don’t listen, just have Faith. It’s much like exercise, in that the more you do, the easier it gets.
If you find yourself doing things because you’re stuck on tradition, rethink what Jesus says about what truly affects a man…
Matthew 15:16–20
I pray that God brings clarity of His law to you. Jesus does that for us in the Bible. Read and meditate on His Word by yourself. You must guard your heart through a connection with God and by His Word. So much can be taken out of context and manipulated by man or the devil, much the way the Pharisees did.
Jesus does not want sacrifice. He asks us for mercy, love, and humility.
Lord, we need Your help. We need You to step into our lives and show us how to carry the yoke of life with ease. We love You. Thank You for the many, many blessings that You have given us this day. Heavenly Father, we ask You now what You want us to do tomorrow for You. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray.
