What a cool nickname. The name was probably given to them because they once asked Jesus if He wanted them call fire down to destroy some people that were persecuting Jews. Although Jesus rebuked them, He surely knew their nature. We could all use this kind of guidance and remembrance. Jesus is amazingly perfect. #JesusSaves

As a Christian, I know that my walk with Him requires consistency. Far too many times I have not been steadfast. My prayer this morning is the all of continue to battle, and fight the good fight so that we may finish strong. This is the way that Jesus finished. #JesusSaves

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
This is a beautiful verse. Understand, that this means that light of His word will be shown on areas of your heart that are absolutely God-given and blessed. However, that light will also begin to reveal that there are areas of your life that require repentance (change). Don’t lose heart. No matter how horrible they may be, He still loves you. The TRIAL will give way to TRIUMPH! #JesusSaves
